| How Can you sponsor us?There are 2 ways to sponsor us for the 2006 51k CHesapeake Bay MS Challenge walk which will be held September 16-17, 2006. Your donations are tax deductible. We have a trust fund account set up The account is set up so that the only way money can be withdrawn from this account is by a money order made payable to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Donations are tax deductible, and anonymous in that checks sent to the bank and all we ever see is the deposit slip from the transaction with no personal information just deposit amount made. | With this website we try to raise funds year round for the MS Society. No money raised is ever used for things such as the recent lettering done to our family truckster( picturesd below) which advertises this website. Any money sent to the bank account listed above is sent directly to the Maryland Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Since opening this website in 2000 we have had over 27,000 visitors to this website. Even if you came across this website by mistake it would be nice if each visitor would send $1.00 to either the MS Societty or the bank account mentioned above. That would have been 27,000 dollars raised. The Money the MS Society not only goes towards research but 1) to support programs such as an annual kids camp for children of people with MS. 2) TO programs such as the loan closet which loans people with MS Medical equipment for as long as they need it such as walkers, wheelchairs and scooters. 3) To purchase and rebuild electric scooters. 4) Stairlifts as well as many other tools for people with MS achieve as high a level of physical independence as possible |
